Beautiful, together is a methodology to detect the impact of art in public spaces through the experiences of citizens.
This methodology can be used to understand how public art impacts the collective imaginary, and how it contributes to shape the image and identity of a city. The method can be used to detect leading narratives about the city, or to discover how citizens see it through the works of art they can experience. It can help uncover unexpected qualities and contribute to a warm, multifaceted description of a city.
The material could be used to inform a citys promotional campaign i.e. for tourism, or to uncover new possibilities on the social application of art.
